Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Hopefula (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit or make a purchase from hopefula.wiki (the “Site”). All our products are digital and delivered electronically.
2. Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information about your device, including your browser type, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device.
When you make or attempt a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, payment information, and email address. We refer to this as “Order Information.” Because our products are delivered electronically, we do not require or collect a shipping address. We also record delivery data such as the date your download link was sent and the number of downloads, in order to operate and secure your access.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process your order and deliver your digital products, including sending and reissuing your download link
- To send order confirmations, invoices, and service-related notices
- To provide customer support and handle refund requests
- To screen orders for fraud and to detect unauthorized sharing of our materials
- To send marketing communications where you have opted in, which you can withdraw at any time
- To improve our Site, products, and services, and to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with service providers who help us operate the business: our e-commerce platform, our payment processors, our digital delivery and file hosting provider, our email service provider, and our analytics providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one.
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as completing your transaction and meeting tax obligations
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated in Section 4, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you products, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@hopefula.wiki from the address used at checkout, or include your order number so we can verify your identity. We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, and may extend this by a further 45 days where necessary, with notice to you. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
California residents may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California’s “Shine the Light” law.
7. Other United States Residents
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@hopefula.wiki. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within the timeframe required by your state’s law.
8. International Customers
If you are located outside the United States, additional rights may apply.
United Kingdom. Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. We process your data to perform our contract with you (delivering your purchase), on the basis of your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), for our legitimate interests (securing and improving our services and preventing fraud), and to comply with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom.
Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation, and we send commercial email only with consent as required by CASL.
Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.
Because we operate from the United Kingdom, your data is processed there and may be transferred to other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Data Retention
We keep your Order Information for as long as necessary to provide access to your purchases, to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
10. Data Security
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including SSL encryption for data in transit and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing. Download links are individual to each order and are not publicly listed. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States, in accordance with COPPA, or from children under 16 in the United Kingdom. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
12. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, so we do not currently alter our practices in response to them, but we do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 5.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
14. Contact Us
For questions about this Privacy Policy, or to exercise any of your rights, contact us at contact@hopefula.wiki or by mail at 40 Great Eastern Road, London E15 1BB, United Kingdom.
